GROUP HEALTH COOPERATIVE – CAPITOL CLINIC
675 W. Washington Avenue, Madison, WI

This facility consists of 36,000 square feet of space, which includes 26 exam rooms, a treatment room, mental health area, chiropractic office, urgent care, optometry, and physical therapy area.   Support spaces for a pharmacy, laboratory, and radiology were also included for in-hour convenience to both patients and staff.  Featuring a brick and glass structure with a standing seam metal roof, the clinic is located near the State Capitol in Madison's historic railroad corridor.   The unique architectural design and construction earned the facility the Capitol Community Citizens Orchid Award for 1995.





SURGI-CENTER OF GREATER MILWAUKEE
3223 S. 103rd Street, Greenfield, WI

This facility was originally built by Jens Construction Corp. as a 12,500 square foot stand-alone outpatient surgery center which included four operating rooms with necessary support services (pre-op and recovery areas, decontamination, sterile areas, office, etc.).   Five years later, Jens constructed a 12,000 square foot expansion of this facility including two new operating rooms, and renovated major areas of the existing facility to handle increased patient load while surgical operations continued uninterrupted.







GROUP HEALTH COOPERATIVE – SAUK TRAILS CLINIC
8202 Excelsior Drive, Madison, WI

This new facility, Group Health Cooperatives first in Madison, consists of 36,000 square feet of space, which includes 26 exam rooms, a treatment room, mental health area, chiropractic office, and a health education center.  Support spaces for a pharmacy, laboratory, and radiology were also included for in-house convenience to both patients and staff.  The upper level houses the organization's administrative offices.


                                                           
GAMBRO HEALTHCARE PATIENT SERVICES

This kidney dialysis clinic was designed and constructed by Jens within an existing multi-tenant medical building.  The treatment area includes eight dialysis stations arranged to take advantage of an attractive exterior view.   The total size of this facility is 4000 s.f.


GAMBRO HEALTHCARE PATIENT SERVICES
19395 Capitol Drive, Brookfield, WI

Jens constructed this twelve-station 5000 s.f. dialysis clinic in a new multi-tenant building.


COMMONWEALTH DIALYSIS CLINIC
4878 S. 76th St., Greenfield, WI

Jens designed and constructed this unique dialysis clinic.  It provides nineteen dialysis stations, eight of which are semi-private to private, provided as an incentive for patients who have trained to handle an increasing responsibility for self-care, allowing a reduction in nursing staff.   Total size of this clinic is 7000 s.f., constructed in a multi-tenant medical facility.


KIDNEY INSTITUTE OF WISCONSIN
10130 W. Appleton Avenue, Milwaukee, WI

This kidney dialysis clinic was designed and constructed by Jens Construction within a multi-tenant building.  The eighteen dialysis stations were uniquely grouped in four station pods to eliminate the more common bullpen style treatment area.   Large windows provide natural light throughout the treatment area.


ST. JOSEPH'S HOSPITAL
5000 W. Chambers St., Milwaukee, WI

Jens Construction has performed work on over three dozen projects at St. Joseph's Hospital in the past four years.   Our services included construction, conceptual design, estimating, equipment installation and project coordination for multiple construction projects.


ST. JOSEPH'S HOSPITAL BLUEMOUND
10100 W. Bluemound Road, Wauwatosa, WI

Jens Construction renovated approximately 9000 square feet of the east wing of the St. Joseph's Hospital-Bluemound Building.   Existing physical therapy rooms, office space and exam rooms were completely renovated into a new physical therapy and rehabilitation treatment areas.

Seven health clinic construction projects, each between 25,000 and 35,000 square feet have been completed for a single client over the past 20 years.   All clinics included primary care, radiology, treatment and lab functions.   Various specialty suites constructed at individual sites included nuclear medicine, cardiac rehabilitation, obstetrics, optical, mental health, oncology, and mammography.   Jens has also constructed major additions and performed significant alterations and renovations on many of these facilities.   In addition to clinic construction, all associated sitework improvements have also been performed.   Sites varied from clean, rural locations to former industrial sites.

Jens assisted this client in the design and constructed all improvements to convert a former 20,000 s.f. grocery store into a successful medical office facility.   Tenant areas included:

MILWAUKEE COUNTY MEDICAL COMPLEX

Existing Radiation Oncology suite was remodeled/renovated without any loss of operations.   Work included installation of substantial radiation shielding requirements.


UNITED INTERNISTS – ST. LUKES NEW BERLIN HEALTHCARE CENTER
14555 W. National Avenue, New Berlin, WI

Jens Construction was awarded the contract to renovate the 3200 square foot United Internists clinic expansion located at the St. Luke's New Berlin Healthcare Center.   The project included the renovation of medical office space into new medical procedure rooms including:   X-ray, film processing, mammography, blood lab, physical therapy, locker rooms, waiting areas and reception areas.
